Noise
Noise prevention covers actions taken to prevent harm to workers from occupational noise. There are two parts to the site:
- Information for workplaces (good practice), and
- Information on programmes and policies.
Good practice information is for those acting to reduce the risk of injury and ill-health in the workplace. Before good practice information is applied, an assessment of the hazards and risks present in the workplace should be carried out and reference made to relevant national legislation.
